Do I have to pay to use Trotta?
No. GPS walk tracking, the route map, your dog's profile, health recommendations and the points program are all free, with ads. Trotta Plus adds 10 AI assistant questions a day, removes the ads and throws in a physical gift at 3, 6 and 12 months.
Can I try Trotta Plus before paying?
Yes, with a 7-day free trial. Cancel during the trial and you won't be charged, and you always manage it from your App Store or Google Play account.
Does it keep tracking with the phone in my pocket?
Yes. If you grant “always” location permission, Trotta keeps recording the route with the screen locked. If you'd rather not, the walk still records while the app is open.
Can I have more than one dog?
Yes, as many as you like. Each dog gets their own profile, history and recommendations, and you can walk them together: the walk counts for everyone who came along.
Can whoever walks my dog use it too?
Yes. You can invite other people as a family member (the same experience you have) or as a walker (log walks and see the history, without touching the profile or your account). You invite with a QR code or a link, and you can revoke access whenever you want.
Does the AI assistant replace the vet?
No, and it never tries to. The assistant answers everyday questions about walks, feeding and habits with your dog's real context, but it doesn't diagnose or recommend medication: at any warning sign it points you straight to your vet.
